Swedish official delegation at Galaxia - The 05/10/2011On Wednesday, Idelux was delighted to welcome Mr Governor Peter Egardt (Province of Uppsala, Sweden) and his International Secretary, Mr Martin Brozek. This visit was part of a double programme prepared by Wallonie Bruxelles International for official representatives of two Swedish provinces actively looking for synergies with our companies and universities. The same day Mrs Elizabeth Nilsson, Governor of Östergötland made a tour in Liège and Charleroi. Mr Governor Egardt is a person clearly interested in new collaborations leading to new businesses. Moreover, also Chairman of the Swedish National Space Board, he is therefore naturally interested in initiatives like Galaxia to create and support new projects related to space. After an official welcoming word from Mr Georges Cottin in the Business Center, Mr Governor Egardt could discover Galaxia Business Park assets, the Skywin Wallonie support and the activities of Vitrociset Belgium on this site. The afternoon was dedicated to the visit of ESA Redu Ground Centre lead by Mr Benoit Demelenne (ESA). Finally Mr Philippe Bouchez presentated examples of activities managed by Redu Space Services from ESA's facilities. At the end of the visit, Mr Governor Egardt made very positive comments about the business potentialities with the Transinne-Redu site.
